Mandera Municipality issues uniforms and personal protective equipment to sanitation workers
The Mandera Municipality earlier today issued uniforms and personal protective equipment to sanitation workers within the municipality. The personal protective equipment are aimed at welfare improvement through the mitigation of workplace hazards which pose health threats to the workers.
While the addressing the one hundred and sixty (160) workers at the Mandera Moi Stadium, the municipal manager Mr. Hassanur Adan emphasized on the need to go an extra mile in keeping the town’s sanitation exceptional, urging the team to take individual responsibility for their performance.
According to the Mr. Hassanur the municipality will in the coming financial years increase sanitation fleet and garbage collection points
